Daniel Pacheco, MD
“The ability to change is often difficult, we have been lead to believe that “just do it” or will power alone is all you need. And it’s a good start. But it usually can’t sustain the change we so strongly desire.
Life is about changes and always trying to improve ourselves, whether it’s personal or professional. Often internal and external barriers interfere with this process. Weight loss is no different, to be successful one need to create an internal vision of what the change looks like and a belief that one can do it.
It takes a new way of looking at things to create change. Albert Einstein famously said, “Insanity is trying the same thing over and over again, expecting different results”. Now is the time to do something different with a team ready to help your vision become reality.”
After losing seventy-five pounds—and keeping it off—through personal growth, changes in his thought process, diet, and consistent exercise, Dr. Daniel Pacheco is bringing his philosophy, based on years as a mental health therapist and Internal Medicine physician, to help others in “mind and body,” creating change from “the inside out.” It’s this history that’s shaped his approach to better health: finding and replacing limiting thoughts about self and teaching how to create their own internal motivation, lighting the fire to create change.
Daniel believes that, like him, each of us can learn to question our perceived limits and look at situations as opportunities not problems. With his help, and a little desire, you can too.
Shalis Stinson, DBH-C, MSN/Ed., RN
"No matter how great our intentions or how strong our willpower, we can find ourselves in a cycle of loss and gain that creates feelings of failure and frustration. With a plan that helps us battle our personal barriers—the real reasons past plans have failed us—we have hope for sustainable success".
Does one weight-loss solution work for everyone? Shalis Stinson, DBH-C, MSN/Ed., RN, doesn’t think so. In fact, her more than 15 years of clinical healthcare experience tells her that weight loss and gain is not a one size fits all. This is because everyone’s perceived limits and barriers are different. With a personalized program to meet the needs of individuals, Shalis is helping change lives from the inside out.
